Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of the Pera Canal, Constantinople by Carlo Bossoli was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,151.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Bossoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A panorama of Constantinople from Uskudar in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 553,250.00 (€ 641,768.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View of the Pera Canal, Constantinople von Carlo Bossoli kam im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.151,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Bossoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A panorama of Constantinople from Uskudar im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 553.250,00 (€ 641.768,33).
