Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of An Architect, Half-Length, In A Red Coat And White Stock, Holding A Compass, Standing Before A Column by Carlo Amalfi for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,343.44). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Amalfi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Portrait Of Two Elegantly Dressed Boys In An Interior Playing With A Dog, which sold at auction in December 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,499.17).

Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of An Architect, Half-Length, In A Red Coat And White Stock, Holding A Compass, Standing Before A Column von Carlo Amalfi für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.343,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
