Despite a disappointment, a good price for Carla Busuttil
When the work The Air is Filled With Children by Carla Busuttil was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 882.00 (€ 1,003.45). Despite this disappointing result, The Air is Filled With Children is the most expensive artwork by Carla Busuttil that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit The Air is Filled With Children von Carla Busuttil im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
