Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Gialloarancio (Orange-Yellow) by Carla Accardi. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,462.77). Admittedly, works by Carla Accardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Violarosso in November last year with an auction result of EUR 180,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gialloarancio (Orange-Yellow) von Carla Accardi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.462,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carla Accardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Violarosso im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 180.000,00.
