The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,863.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Balsgaard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After the Bath, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,277.70).

Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Balsgaard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit After the Bath beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 11.970,00 (€ 14.277,70) versteigert wurde.
