In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Still life with fruit on a plate changed hands for DKK 17,000.00 (€ 2,279.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Balsgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work After the Bath in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,277.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Balsgaard konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Still life with fruit on a plate für DKK 17.000,00 (€ 2.279,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Balsgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit After the Bath im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 14.277,70).
