The estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - price of DKK 6,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than six times as high at DKK 38,000.00 (€ 5,094.67). This high result makes “I arbejdshumør” (In the mood for work) the most expensive artwork by Carl V. Meyer that we have observed at auctions so far.
