The result of AUD 1,200.00 (€ 700.50) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Olaf Plate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Third Edge in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,169.48).
