A top price for Carl Neumann
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work View of Beirut by Carl Neumann. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 81,900.00 (€ 97,101.67), 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, View of Beirut is even the most expensive work of art by Carl Neumann that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Carl Neumann
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of Beirut von Carl Neumann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 97.101,67) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist View of Beirut sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Carl Neumann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
