Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Neumann could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen auction, the work A coastal scene from Skagen changed hands for DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,138.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Neumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Beirut in March last year with an auction result of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 97,101.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Neumann konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen wechselte die Arbeit A coastal scene from Skagen für DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.138,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Neumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Beirut im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 97.101,67).
