Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Neumann could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “En Chinafarer” changed hands for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Neumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Beirut in March last year with an auction result of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 97,101.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Neumann konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “En Chinafarer” für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Neumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Beirut im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 97.101,67).
