The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,751.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Trees by a clearing with scattered clouds is the most expensive artwork by Carl Jonnevold that we have observed at auctions so far.
