Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest Interior by Carl Jonnevold was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 834.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Jonnevold - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trees by a clearing with scattered clouds, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,751.52).

Die Arbeit Forest Interior von Carl Jonnevold wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 834,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
