Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Jonnevold could be acquired at Bonhams in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Landscape changed hands for USD 255.00 (€ 239.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Jonnevold have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trees by a clearing with scattered clouds in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,751.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Jonnevold konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit Landscape für USD 255,00 (€ 239,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Jonnevold auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trees by a clearing with scattered clouds im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.751,52).
