In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Die Lesestunde. sold for EUR 4,257.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carl Johann Lasch; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Die Brautschmückung sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of EUR 4,500.00.
