Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View from Tistedalen, Sweden by Carl Johan Fahlcrantz was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 2,184.12). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Johan Fahlcrantz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stockholm from Djurgården, which sold at auction in June 2016 for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,928.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View from Tistedalen, Sweden von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz im Juni 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 2.184,12) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stockholm from Djurgården beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.928,93) versteigert wurde.
