It achieved a price of SEK 19,000.00 (€ 2,074.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Johan Fahlcrantz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stockholm from Djurgården, which sold at auction in June 2016 for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,928.93).

Die Arbeit View from Andrarums church von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 2.074,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stockholm from Djurgården beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.928,93) versteigert wurde.
