A top price for Carl Hilgers
In April 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Skaters on a frozen lake, with a manor beyond by Carl Hilgers. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 43,020.00. With this result, Skaters on a frozen lake, with a manor beyond is even the most expensive work of art by Carl Hilgers that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skaters on a frozen lake, with a manor beyond von Carl Hilgers zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 43.020,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
