In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work Schonheit und Kraft - Beauty and Power by Carl Fahringer. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carl Fahringer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Market In Hoorn sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of EUR 15,000.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
