Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,553.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fishermen on the quay near the Hoofdtoren, Hoorn von Carl Fahringer kam im Juni 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.553,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Fahringer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Market In Hoorn im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
