Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Linnea" by Carl Eldh was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2017. The price achieved of SEK 47,000.00 (€ 4,876.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 45,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Eldh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Självkritik" (Self-criticism), which sold at auction in June 2011 for SEK 140,000.00 (€ 15,288.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Linnea" von Carl Eldh wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 47.000,00 (€ 4.876,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 45.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Eldh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für SEK 140.000,00 (€ 15.288,85) versteigert wurde.
