Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,980.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cari E. Watson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Highland calves, Loch Tay; and Highland calves on the hills, Loch Long, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64).
