Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Highland calves on the banks of Loch Tay by Cari E. Watson was sold in the Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours auction at Christies in London in March 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,980.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cari E. Watson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Highland calves, Loch Tay; and Highland calves on the hills, Loch Long, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64).

Die Arbeit Highland calves on the banks of Loch Tay von Cari E. Watson wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.980,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cari E.
