A top price for Cari E. Watson - as previously expected
The work Highland calves, Loch Tay; and Highland calves on the hills, Loch Long by Cari E. Watson was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Highland calves, Loch Tay; and Highland calves on the hills, Loch Long is the most expensive artwork by Cari E. Watson that we have observed at auctions so far.
