In June 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm, which included the work Flirtation by Carl d'Unker. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 33,000.00 (€ 3,603.80), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl d'Unker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The first and second-class waiting room in September 2007 with an auction result of GBP 17,300.00 (€ 24,806.93).

Im Juni 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flirtation von Carl d'Unker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 33.000,00 (€ 3.603,80) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl d'Unker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The first and second-class waiting room im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.300,00 (€ 24.806,93).
