Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work View from a smith's workshop, presumably in Hornbæk by Carl Carlsen for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.37). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Carlsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Auction House in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 56,807.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View from a smith's workshop, presumably in Hornbæk von Carl Carlsen für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Carlsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Auction House im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 56.807,42).
