Auction result fails to reach estimate
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Parti ved Arilsleje i Sverige paa Kullensnordside” by Carl Ludwig Bille for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.18). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Ludwig Bille achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A French man-of-war in high seas in September this year with an auction result of DKK 35,000.00 (€ 4,692.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Parti ved Arilsleje i Sverige paa Kullensnordside” von Carl Ludwig Bille für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Ludwig Bille erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A French man-of-war in high seas im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 35.000,00 (€ 4.692,46).
