Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Cavaliers et personnages sur un chemin dans un paysage fluvial by Carel Beschey. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,744.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carel Beschey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter Landscape With Hunters And Skaters On A Frozen River Running Through A Village; A Summer Landscape With Villagers Resting By A Stream in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 163,847.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cavaliers et personnages sur un chemin dans un paysage fluvial von Carel Beschey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.744,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carel Beschey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Hunters And Skaters On A Frozen River Running Through A Village; A Summer Landscape With Villagers Resting By A Stream im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 163.847,11).
