Admittedly, works by Captain Richard Aldworth Oliver have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sketches in the New Hebrides and New Caledonia in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,151.96).
