Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape by Cao Yue was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 82,600.00 (€ 9,091.11). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cao Yue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Hills And Streams, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 188,800.00 (€ 21,821.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Cao Yue kam im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 82.600,00 (€ 9.091,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Cao Yue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Hills And Streams beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 188.800,00 (€ 21.821,79) versteigert wurde.
