Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Cao Yue was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 20,235.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 220,000.00. Other works by Cao Yue have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Autumn Hills And Streams was auctioned for HKD 188,800.00 (€ 21,821.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Cao Yue wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 20.235,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cao Yue konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2016 die Arbeit Autumn Hills And Streams für HKD 188.800,00 (€ 21.821,79) versteigert.
