The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,823.92) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Campbell Archibald Mellon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work August Bank Holiday, Gorleston On Sea in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 29,375.00 (€ 48,797.72).
