Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Orleans House Fête Champêtre', 1864 by Camille Silvy was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2000. It achieved a price of GBP 10,575.00 (€ 16,968.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Camille Silvy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Studies On Light : Fog', London, 1859, which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 53,770.16).

Die Arbeit 'Orleans House Fête Champêtre', 1864 von Camille Silvy kam im Mai 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
