In May 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Jean-Paul Jungo, which included the work Sans titre by Camille Bryen. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Camille Bryen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ultraflirt in May last year with an auction result of EUR 27,720.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Jean-Paul Jungo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Camille Bryen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Camille Bryen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ultraflirt im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.720,00.
