This artwork by Camilla Engström achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Day And Night In March(Painted In 2022) sold for HKD 720,000.00 (€ 87,070.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Camilla Engström; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Secret Island sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 141,537.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Camilla Engström erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Day And Night In March(Painted In 2022) für HKD 720.000,00 (€ 87.070,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Camilla Engström; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Secret Island im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 141.537,72).
