Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Callum Innes for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,300.26). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Callum Innes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exposed Painting Charcoal Black Violet Red Oxide in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,547.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Callum Innes für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.300,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Callum Innes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exposed Painting Charcoal Black Violet Red Oxide im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.547,91).
