Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Identified Forms by Callum Innes was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,678.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Callum Innes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Exposed Painting Charcoal Black Violet Red Oxide in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,547.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Identified Forms von Callum Innes kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.678,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Callum Innes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Exposed Painting Charcoal Black Violet Red Oxide im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.547,91).
