Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Rome held the auction 19th Century Pictures, which included the work Natura Morta Con Mele Rosse by Cafiero Filippelli. The price achieved of EUR 1,488.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,300.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cafiero Filippelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interno con figure, which sold at auction in May 2002 for EUR 3,224.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion 19th Century Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Natura Morta Con Mele Rosse von Cafiero Filippelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.488,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.300,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cafiero Filippelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interno con figure beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für EUR 3.224,00 versteigert wurde.
