Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Semafor by C. Göran Karlsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,860.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by C. Göran Karlsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,747.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Semafor von C. Göran Karlsson im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.860,78) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von C. Göran Karlsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.747,27) versteigert wurde.
