Despite a disappointment, a good price for C. Göran Karlsson
When this work without title by C. Göran Karlsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,747.27). Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by C. Göran Karlsson that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für C. Göran Karlsson
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von C. Göran Karlsson im April 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.747,27) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von C. Göran Karlsson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
