Sold at the upper estimate price
This work without title by Burcu Percin was sold in the Contemporary Art Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in March 2009. The auction ended at the price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,313.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Burcu Percin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,069.54).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Burcu Percin wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Turkish bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.313,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Burcu Percin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.069,54) versteigert wurde.
