This artwork by Bunga Jeruk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Good girls go to heaven sold for HKD 72,000.00 (€ 6,855.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 28,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bunga Jeruk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zodiac Wonderland, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 22,461.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bunga Jeruk erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Good girls go to heaven für HKD 72.000,00 (€ 6.855,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 28.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bunga Jeruk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zodiac Wonderland beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 22.461,51) versteigert wurde.
