Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Marine - 1985 by Bui Xuan Phai. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,184.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bui Xuan Phai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Houses in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 171,775.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marine - 1985 von Bui Xuan Phai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.184,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bui Xuan Phai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Houses im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 171.775,05).
