Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2018 Christies in London held the auction Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III, which included the work Two Studio Portraits; Audrey Hepburn Studio Portraits, c. 1956 by Bud Fraker. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,277.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bud Fraker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audrey Hepburn, circa 1956 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,816.35).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Studio Portraits; Audrey Hepburn Studio Portraits, c. 1956 von Bud Fraker zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.277,46) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bud Fraker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn, circa 1956 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.816,35).
