Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studio Portrait, c. 1956 by Bud Fraker was sold in the Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III auction at Christies in London in May 2018. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,423.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bud Fraker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audrey Hepburn, circa 1956 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,816.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studio Portrait, c. 1956 von Bud Fraker wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.423,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bud Fraker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn, circa 1956 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.816,35).
