Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 Christies in London held the auction Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III, which included the work Studio portrait, c. 1956 by Bud Fraker. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,850.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bud Fraker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audrey Hepburn, circa 1956 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,816.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studio portrait, c. 1956 von Bud Fraker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.850,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bud Fraker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn, circa 1956 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.816,35).
