Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mobil by Bryan Organ was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,735.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan Organ have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lilies in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,512.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mobil von Bryan Organ wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.500,00 (€ 5.735,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Organ auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lilies im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.512,60).
