Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2003 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Korlobarr (Red Kangaroo) by Bruce Nabegeyo. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 528.75 (€ 312.36). Other works by Bruce Nabegeyo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 587.50 (€ 347.07) in August 2003 for the work Nimbuwa Djang.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2003 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Korlobarr (Red Kangaroo) von Bruce Nabegeyo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 528,75 (€ 312,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Bruce Nabegeyo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 587,50 (€ 347,07) im August 2003 für die Arbeit Nimbuwa Djang beobachtet.
