Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled (Landscape) by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 478.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer Dusk (Solitude) in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt im Juli 2010 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 625,00 (€ 478,23) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer Dusk (Solitude) im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.592,90).
