The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 20,505.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer Dusk (Solitude), which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90).
