In May 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Lion VIII by Bror Hjorth. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,146.96), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bror Hjorth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Blå Eva" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 2,400,000.00 (€ 261,165.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lion VIII von Bror Hjorth zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.146,96) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bror Hjorth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Blå Eva" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.400.000,00 (€ 261.165,98).
